Can I use fresh herbs instead of dried ones?

While this recipe calls for dried basil, parsley, and rosemary, you can certainly use fresh herbs if you prefer. Keep in mind that the flavors of fresh herbs are more potent, so you may need to adjust the quantities accordingly. A general guideline is to use three times the amount of fresh herbs compared to dried herbs. Try different amounts until you reach your desired flavor level.

Can I substitute all-purpose flour for bread flour?

While bread flour is recommended for this recipe due to its higher protein content, you can substitute all-purpose flour if needed. The resulting bread may have a slightly different texture and may not rise as much, but it will still be delicious.

  • RECIPE NOTES FOR HER BREAD:

If you prefer a softer crust, you can brush the top of the bread with melted butter as soon as it comes out of the bread machine.

For a stronger herb flavor, you can increase the quantities of basil, parsley, and rosemary according to your taste preference.

    HOW TO STORE HERB BREAD:

You can store the slices of herb bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days and in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
