Ingredients

  • 2 shots espresso (if you do not have any tool to make espresso at home, use ½ cup of strongly-brewed coffee)

  • 1 cup whole-fat milk

  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin puree

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Whipped cream for topping (optional)

  • Cinnamon stick and some pumpkin pie spice for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Make the espresso using an automatic espresso machine, Moka pot, or AeroPress.

  2. Add the espresso, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract into a coffee mug.

  3. Heat the milk to scalding and froth it using a milk frother, French press, or whisker. You can skip the frothing and use hot milk in the step below.
