What is the difference between a pudding and a custard?

Pudding mainly uses starch as the main thickener agent while custard uses eggs for the same purpose even though both recipes may include eggs. The texture of custard is firmer than pudding so custard feels more filling.

Should I serve chocolate pudding warm or cold?

Chocolate puddings are served cold. Its taste and texture set as it gets cold.
