In this recipe, we are going to make a whole apple dessert stuffing them with walnuts and raisins. The tastes of walnuts, raisins and apples blend and complement each other very well in this recipe. Walnut-stuffed baked apples recipe will be your favorite whenever you need a light but delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • 4 apples

  • 4 tablespoons walnuts

  • 4 tablespoons raisins

  • ½ teaspoon allspice

  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder

  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • Olive oil spray

Directions

  1. Preheat the air fryer by setting the temperature to 350°F and the timer to 3 minutes. Once you press the “Start/Pause” button, it will start warming up.

  2. Core the apples from the top with a teaspoon and set them aside.

  3. Add walnuts, raisins, all spice, nutmeg powder, and butter into a bowl and mix them.

  4. Spoon the mixture into the apples until they are full.

  5. Open the air fryer, lightly grease the basket with olive oil spray, stand the apples in the basket, and close the air fryer.

  6. Set the timer to 20 minutes and press the “Start/Pause” button to begin baking.

  7. Bake the walnut-stuffed apples until the apples are tender.

  8. Open the air fryer and carefully remove the apples onto a serving platter using tongs.

  9. Serve warm or at room temperature depending on your preference.
